Resolved: Zenni Optical - Poor quality control and refused a replacement
I sent an email to Zenni customer support with the screenshot of review I uploaded. They promised to send the replacement right away. However, the received replacement has a slight difference in lens shape as well, but not as much as the original.
Out of the box, the curvature of lens were not symmetrical. See the picture and note the red lines which I feel about it.
I returned it for inspection with their return label. After a week, I got an email saying "They were inspected and found to have been produced correctly. Curvature is normal for prescription and frame shape." They refused to send a replacement. Instead, they offered one time store credit without shipping/discount.
It is an obvious failure of quality control.
How can I make sure the next one with the store credit has better symmetry? Who wants to look weird with weird glasses?
