Zenni Optical - Refused responsibility for glasses they knew could easily break.
DO NOT BY GLASSES from these people if you are not prepared to buy another pair within the year. I bought my third pair of glasses from Zenni six months ago.
Three months ago a lens chipped on the bottom edge. Now I have multiple chips by the temple. I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and never had anything like this. I contacted Zenni, after a very long and difficult interaction with customer service, after insisting I speak with a supervisor (and being refused several times) I was given an email address and told to send pictures.
I did so and received a brush off in reply.
Zenni stated I only have 30 days to return glasses and said (quote) "Besides, your prescription is a far-sighted prescription, the lens will be thick in the middle but thin in the edges. We recommend that you order full rim frames for future orders, which can protect the lens edges."
So they sold me glasses destined to chip, made it VERY hard to deal with customer service and then act like I should have known the glasses were destined to chip.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $100.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Zenni Optical Pros: Price.
